Welcome to Push Start Gaming, a very opinionated gaming blog. Everything you read here will be infused (tainted?) with plenty of commentary from me, the aim being to start a conversation rather than simply presenting rather stiff news that you could’ve read elsewhere.
Who’s ‘me’, I hear you ask? Well, I’m a chap who studied Journalism at LCC, graduating in 2006, and I’ve been gaming since about 1989. I’ve wanted to write about games for about ten years now, and after going slightly mad in the head in May of 2012, I’ve decided to just go ahead and do it.
I have a handful of irregular features running; my occasional ‘Sunday Soapbox’ opinion pieces; ‘Musical Mondays’, where I feature my favourite game music; and my latest, ‘Postcards from Eorzea’, where I showcase some lovely views from the world of Final Fantasy XIV. A couple of friends sometimes contribute, and if you’d like to contribute a piece to the blog, please don’t hesitate to ask. The same goes for comments; I’d love to hear what you think of the topics I post about, and I’ll reply to every single one. The main aim of this blog, after all, is to start a conversation.
